ADVENTURE CRUISE THROUGH THE CROATIAN ISLANDS
Embark on a truly immersive Croatian sailing experience aboard the charming gulet Alisa, as you journey through the crystal-clear waters of the Adriatic Sea. This 8-day, 7-night one-way cruise from Split to Dubrovnik offers a carefully curated itinerary, combining cultural discovery, natural beauty, and ultimate relaxation.
Day 1: Saturday – Split (Stobreč) to Brač (Milna)
Your adventure begins in Stobreč, a quiet coastal village just 5km from Split. Check-in begins at 4 PM, giving you time to settle in and meet your fellow travellers. Before departure, enjoy a traditional welcome drink before setting sail for Milna, a picturesque fishing village on the island of Brač. Known for its shipbuilding history and the birthplace of the classic Dalmatian boat ‘Bracera,’ Milna offers a peaceful first night complete with a home-cooked meal on board.
Day 2: Sunday – Brač to Vis
Today, the gulet heads toward Vis, the most remote island in Central Dalmatia. Rich in cultural and historical heritage, Vis was once closed to foreigners due to its role as a Yugoslav naval base. Now, it's known for its scenic bays and exceptional wines — particularly the indigenous Vugava grape variety. The night is spent anchored in one of Vis’s tranquil bays, offering a quiet end to a day of exploration.
Day 3: Monday – Vis to Hvar (via Pakleni Islands)
After breakfast, sail to the stunning Pakleni Islands, a chain of islets off the coast of Hvar. These unspoiled islands are perfect for swimming and relaxation. In the afternoon or evening, you’ll be transferred by dinghy to Hvar Town, famed for its nightlife, historic architecture, and vibrant cultural scene. After exploring, return to the gulet (via taxi boat) and anchor overnight in one of Hvar’s peaceful bays.
Day 4: Tuesday – Hvar to Korčula
Set sail for Korčula, the birthplace of legendary explorer Marco Polo. Along the way, stop for a refreshing swim. Once docked, stroll through the medieval town’s charming streets, filled with Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque architecture. With views across to the Pelješac Peninsula and a wide range of restaurants, Korčula offers a perfect mix of heritage and hospitality.
Day 5: Wednesday – Korčula to Mljet (Pomena or Polače)
Cruise onward to the lush island of Mljet, home to one of Croatia’s most beautiful national parks. Here, guests can explore the Mljet National Park (entrance fee applies), visit the famed Ulysses’ Cave, or simply relax and swim. Dinner is served onboard or at a local restaurant in Pomena or Polače, with fresh lobster highly recommended.
Day 6: Thursday – Mljet to Šipan
Your next destination is the serene island of Šipan, the largest of the Elafiti Islands. Known for its historic summer residences and churches, Šipan offers a peaceful retreat with time for swimming, sunbathing, or exploring the island’s heritage. Once a hub of Dubrovnik's elite, Šipan remains a hidden gem filled with character.
Day 7: Friday – Šipan to Lopud and Dubrovnik (Zaton Veliki)
Sail to Lopud, famous for its sandy Šunj Beach, one of the most beautiful on the Adriatic. Spend the day soaking up the sun and enjoying the warm, shallow waters. In the evening, the gulet makes its final journey toward Zaton Veliki, a quiet bay just outside Dubrovnik.
Day 8: Saturday – Dubrovnik (Zaton Veliki)
Disembark by 9 AM in Zaton Veliki, bidding farewell to the gulet, crew, and your fellow travellers. Just a short ride away lies Dubrovnik, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famed for its medieval walls, baroque buildings, and rich cultural scene. Whether you stay on to explore or head home, the experience will leave lasting memories of the Dalmatian coast’s charm and beauty.
This unforgettable cruise blends historical discovery with sun-drenched leisure, offering a unique way to explore Croatia’s most iconic islands — all from the comfort of your traditional gulet.
