FEEL PROUD IN BRIGHTON

Brighton & Hove Pride 2025 is set to be a landmark celebration of LGBTQ+ culture, identity, and activism. Scheduled for the weekend of 2–3 August 2025, this year’s festival promises to be one of the most vibrant and inclusive yet, with major changes designed to enhance accessibility and community engagement.

The heart of the weekend is Pride on the Park, the official fundraiser for local LGBTQ+ groups, taking place at Preston Park. Headliners include Mariah Carey and Sugababes, joined by over 150 artists across multiple stages. The festival layout has been revamped to include dance, cabaret, and live music stages, a community area, a family zone, and a funfair, ensuring a diverse experience for all attendees.

The Pride Parade, a central feature of the event, will march through the city on Saturday, 2 August, with the theme Ravishing Rage. This year’s parade focuses on resilience, passion, and unity, encouraging participants to be louder and brighter than ever before.

In response to community feedback, significant changes have been made to the Pride Street Party. The event will now take place on Marine Parade, allowing St James’s Street to remain open to pedestrians and vehicles. Marine Parade will feature outdoor bars, entertainment stages, and a variety of music zones, creating a safer and more inclusive space for celebration.

Leading up to the main weekend, several supporting events will take place. The Rainbow Run on 1 August offers a fun and colorful 5K run in Hove Park, while the Pre-Pride Party at the Royal Pavilion on 31 July provides an elegant evening of food, drinks, and entertainment.

Brighton & Hove Pride is more than just a festival; it is a powerful statement of love, equality, and community. Through its fundraising efforts, the event has raised over £1.4 million for local LGBTQ+ causes, supporting initiatives that promote inclusivity and social impact.

Tickets for Pride on the Park are available now, with options including general admission, VIP, and low-income schemes to ensure accessibility for all. With its rich history, diverse programming, and commitment to community, Brighton & Hove Pride 2025 is set to be an unforgettable celebration of LGBTQ+ pride and solidarity.
